Work sucks!!!
I know I’m writing a lot in my new blog, but it’s so new and I am excited to post some of my thoughts and feelings here and I can’t seem to know when to stop! Anyway, as you maybe guessed, I am writing this blog from work. Most days I don’t care for my job. It’s all a bunch of numbers and math, and since I have always been good at those things, the work is pretty easy most of the time. They usually leave me alone and let me do my work, and I can move at my own pace (slow).
Just the people at my work, sometimes, just drive me batty and not in any good way. None of them are very nice and I don’t think they like me. The company does advertising on the internet and so we have a lot of technical-related people. I don’t like any of them. They sometimes glare at me and are usually really abrupt and they don’t like to help me when I have a problem. Like one time I needed to connect to a database to get a few numbers. One of them totally yelled at me. I felt pretty bad about that and didn’t know what to say, so I just kept my mouth shut and did my job like I was supposed to. And sometimes the women around here can be really catty and mean.
The one thing is that I do not mind my boss. He is a pretty nice man who is not harsh and understands if I need to connect to a database or if a project takes longer than usual. Also he is short, and that is good because a tall man can make me nervous. (Not you, Roger!) Anyway I am going to go back to my spreadsheets and math. I will write another post later.
