Tomorrow was Kirby Puckett’s birthday. He died on March 6, 2006, only a few days away from his next birthday. He was probably my all time favorite center fielder and was quite a man. Even with the glaucoma he was still a winner in my book. He is always on the roster of my fantasy baseball team, in spirit. He died of a massive stroke so remember to keep taking your vitamins. Puck, you were the man and you’ll always be a winner in my book, be sure to keep a light on for me buddy. Now, in the words of Queen (one of my top 10 bands), nothing really matters any more.
